Method
How it works
Line totals are quantity × rate. Tax is applied per line using that line's tax percentage, then the discount is deducted from the taxable subtotal before tax. The order of discount and tax changes the result, so this template states its convention clearly.
Print uses your browser's print stylesheet: choose 'Save as PDF' in the print dialog to archive or email the invoice. Nothing is generated on a server, so the PDF is exactly what you see.
Saving is optional. If you press Save, the invoice data is stored so you can reopen a private link. The link contains a random code — anyone with it can view the invoice, so share carefully.

Is this invoice legally or GST compliant?
It is a clean template, not a compliance product. Rules for tax invoices, mandatory fields and sequential numbering vary by jurisdiction. Check requirements with your accountant before using it officially.
Can I add a logo?
Text-only business details are supported today. A logo upload is on the roadmap; for now add the logo in your PDF editor after printing.
How do I export a PDF?
Choose Print, then set the destination to 'Save as PDF'. On mobile, use the share sheet to export the printed preview to Files.
Is my saved invoice public?
It is unlisted, not private: the random code is required to open it. Do not save invoices containing information you would not email to the client.
Privacy
Invoice details stay in your browser unless you press Save. Saved invoices are stored with a random access code and no account is required.

Limits
This generator is a document-formatting aid. It does not register your business, validate tax identifiers, or guarantee compliance with any tax authority.
